Feel Good Salade

I guess this is one of the easiets and healthiest recipe I have posted.

The AFAM this month is hosted by Sra of When My Soup Came Alive. And the fruit she have choosen is Pomegranate.

It was a sheer coincidence that I picked up a free magazine from the super market and there in it was this easy salade, which was looking so healthy and good, I thought well I will make this for the event and sent it to Sra.
The ginger powder gave a excelent taste to the fruit salade. So I will be making it again.

Fruits....

2 Pomegranate.
2 Kiwi sliced
1 Grapefruit sliced
1 soup spoon cane sugar / or just sugar
1 tsp ginger powder

Mix everything together and serve .
Didn't I say it is so easy :-)

My mom used to make this but she would add custard because when I was lil I had an aversion towards anything that was healthy like veggies and fruits hehe. But now that I am older (well sort of) I love fruits. Will be trying your recipe out :o)

What an elegant looking salad!

I bought a pomegranate on a whim this week, so thanks for bringing this event to my attention.

Aparna Balasubramanian said...

Doesn't pomegranate do something for salads?
I add it to raw vegetable salads (carrot, tomatoes, onions, cabbage) with a vinaigreete dressing.
