Oven Fried Potatoes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did send Sia of Monsoon Spice a potato dish for her event Ode to Potato which she is hosting .

I am sure few of you did more than one entry to her as potato iss something we used in the kitchen a lot.
In Belgium, French Fries are very famous, here they call it Frieten or Friets.
I am sure if you have visited Belgium you would have surley tasted friets from one of those stalls in the streets,
Well Friets are for another post.
This is Oven baked Chips. I do this a lot of time at home and we all love it. Mostly I serve them with fried chicken and salade.

I love to do this as it is hardly anywork and you can just make them in the oven.If you like you can aff few sprigs of tyme or few cloves of garlic in the tray with the potato. This time i made them just plain. Just added salt that is it.

Sliced and washed potato

Ready to go in the oven

Crispy and Delicious

750 gm potato
3 to 4 tbsp of oil
Salt to taste

Peel the potato and cut them into thick pieces and par boil them.
When it is par boiled drain them.

Preheat the oven to 200°C to 225°c.Spred the potatoes in a tray and coat the potatoes with the oil. Sprinkle with salt.
Bake them in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
Around half time you can turn over the potatoes. So both the sides are crispy.
If you want you can sprinkle chilie power with the salt or even if you have cajun spice powder you can add them too.

I got $1 per cupcake, so $24 for the whole box. But I'm thinking I should've charged more for the ones with Frangelico and Nutella. Those ingredients aren't the cheapest.
