I almost bought a cookie book, but then I said to myself, why should I spend money on a book when I can just go to her round up from last year where she has 212 sensatonal cookies.
If you want to see this years cookies n just go here
And that is what I did, ofcourse the choices there is too much, it hard to choose as there is so many variety of cookies.
I decided on Arfi's Chocolate Snowballs it was looking delicious and also really healthy, there is hardly any sugar in them. And I had all the ingridients here at home.
We all loved them. My daughter thought the cookies were tastier after a day, which i also agree.
This is one cookies i will be making again. It is so easy to make them.
Sending this to Meeta's
Also sending this to Kitchen Flavours at Yummy food which was started by sunshinemom at TongueTicklers.
125g (4 oz) butter
3 Tbs icing sugar sifted
2/3 cup plain flour
1/3 cup cocoa
1 cup finely chopped almonds
extra sifted icing sugar to coat cookies
Soften the butter at room temperature, beat with icing sugar until creamy. Stir in flour and cocoa, sifted together, then almonds. Chill until firm enough to handle.
Roll a teaspoonful of dough at a time into marble-sized balls. Place balls on an ungreased baking tray, spacing them about 5cm (2in) apart. Bake in a slow oven for 20 minutes, or until firm. Carefully remove from baking trays; roll in icing sugar while still warm.
Place on wire racks to finish cooling, store in layers (with greaseproof paper between) in an airtight container.
That sounds so easy to make and could enjoy a mouth full of cholatey balls:)
