Can you believe I have nothing much to write after the 10 days of breal other than that we had a wonderful time , didn't go to see the carnival parade in the next town as I have seen it few times and I think if you see one you have seen it all, it is always same, just my opinion and I didn't want to stand in the cold weather in the street to see the carnival, if it was summer time then I would have gone ( maybe).
Now to the recipe I made this delicious Currant and Walnut Pastry Cookies from Dragons kitchen, you can get the recipe here her pictures are much more nicer so go and have a peep there.
I had bookmarked the moment i saw them in her place, just than it took a bit longer for me to make them. I had made them before i went for the break, didn't had time to post it.
My camera was in close up mode so the picture is not good, but the taste was so yummy delicious , that I will be making them again and it is so so easy to make them too.
I didn't had course sugar so i adde pearl sugar which I has that is the huge white pieces you see in the pic. Next time when I make them i will make sure I do have corse sugar.
Now I am looking to the picture i am getting hungry fro them.
Sending this to Ruth's bookmarked recipes.

Good to see you back,F! I feel the same way about 4th of July fireworks too. We went to few fireworks first few yrs too. It rains without a fail every year and it always a mess to stand there for hours. So we don't go now. kids are grown now too, not that interested. Glad you had a good time with S though! :)
