As always the weekend just flew. Saturday we went with out daughter for SID day. It is like a food fair but then for the last year hight school kids for studies. All the Universities in Belgium is in this huge hall and all of them have a stall with what all they can learn in their place. And kids and parents could get lot of information about everything.
And luck be it, Ikea was just opposite to it and ofcourse we went to Ikea and i bought few goddies for my blog.
One is always surprised that one can get beautiful things for such less price.
Mostly i serve them with roast chicken or some kind of schintsel.
It is so easy to make and so so crunchy delicous and one use less oil that deep frying.
750 gm potato
3 to 4 tbsp of oil
50 gm grated parmesan cheese
Salt to taste
Peel the potato and cut them into thick pieces and par boil them. When it is par boiled drain them.Preheat the oven to 200°C to 225°c.Spred the potatoes in a tray and coat the potatoes with the oil. Sprinkle with salt and the cheese
.Bake them in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
Around half time you can turn over the potatoes. So both the sides are crispy.
Drooooooooooool!

ReplyDeleteAfter the snow came ice and sleet here, no school today. It was dangerous when we drove to UNC to see Trisha, road was slippery. We spun 360degrees and fortunately escaped hitting the back of the truck by inches. Shouldn't have driven Saturday but glad we are all okay! :)
